Job Description:
Jake's Fireworks is seeking a highly motivated and organized Route Manager to oversee our network of fireworks tents in the state of Michigan. This role requires a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement to transport fireworks safely. If you don't have HAZMATS we can get one for you. The Route Manager will be responsible for managing operators at our fireworks tents and all independent contractors working at these locations. This is a lucrative seasonal opportunity. Teachers or individuals with summers off are encouraged to apply. The position will run from June 20th through July 8th, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and execute the transportation of fireworks to various tent locations.
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the transport of hazardous materials.
· Supervise and support operators at fireworks tent locations.
· Coordinate and oversee the setup, operation, and tear-down of fireworks tents.
· Monitor and maintain inventory levels at each tent.
· Ensure tents are compliant with safety regulations and company policies.
· Recruit, train, and manage tent staff, including sales associates and operators.
· Provide guidance, support, and coaching to employees to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service.
· Maintain a strong commitment to safety in all aspects of operations.
· Ensure all employees follow safety guidelines and protocols, especially when handling fireworks.
· Foster a customer-centric environment at all tent locations.
· Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
· Track and manage inventory levels, including ordering additional stock as needed.
· Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and expenses.
· Prepare reports for upper management as required.
Qualifications:
· Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.
· Proven experience in route management and transportation logistics.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
· Knowledge of fireworks safety regulations is a plus.
· Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak fireworks seasons.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per week
